The chrome-plated metal lamp is characterised by minimalistic design
This functionalist table lamp model 8239 was produced by the NAPAKO production cooperative which was founded in 1919 as an association of small private companies. The founders of the cooperative pooled together companies, mostly with a small number of employees, mainly from Prague.
After the second World War the cooperative was partially nationalized but thanks to the skilled craftsmanship and the quality of production it has overcome temporary difficulties and extended its production facilities in Prague – Michle, where the company is now headquartered.
