The very elegant ensemble of the functionalist armchairs FN21 Famos from Czechoslovakian company Mücke-Melder
The seatings are fixed on only two points per side, which makes it also a masterpiece of ergonomics and furniture engineering.
The author rights for this model were obtained by Anton Lorenc in a patent dispute with Marcel Breuer which he won in the name of the company Thonet.
After the second World War the Mücke-Melder company was nationalized but FN21 was produced further in the 1950s by Kovona NP (Czechoslovakia).
